KAPPA PHI LAMBDA
THE DREXEL ASSOCIATE CHAPTER OF
Sorority, Inc.
OUR THREE PILLARS
Sxsterhood
Although it is difficult to describe, the bond of sisterhood is a common light that burns passionately in each sxster. We embrace a unique relationship based on friendship, respect, and a shared vision. Wherever we go, and no matter how long ago we joined Kappa Phi Lambda, each sxster is connected and important to the sorority. With a network of sxsters spanning across the globe, we can find comfort in knowing that Kappa Phi Lambda extends so much further beyond Drexel! Each semester, active Chapters and Associate Chapters recruit new classes of sxsters to join Kappa Phi Lambda through rush and a New Member Process. This process secures our continued growth, expansion and instills our deep-held values into potential new members who continue our legacy.

Service
Kappa Phi Lambda places a heavy emphasis on service and is committed to giving back through various national and local community service projects. Nationally, we support CARE, a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. Locally, we support KITHS which supports immigrants and refugees with sustaining self-sufficiency by creating opportunities that foster independence, growth, healing, and development.

Sxsters volunteer hours toward local nonprofit events such as festivals, event fundraisers and food drives that aim to help people and specific charities in need. Local community service projects include community cleanup, volunteering at the Cambodian Association's Banquet, hosting a flower sale on campus, and volunteering at community events. Sxsters are constantly look for ways to give back to their communities.
Cultural Diversity
We believe that by educating our community about the beauty and complexity of Pan-Asian cultural heritage, we also uphold the importance of understanding all cultures. The events we host across campuse enrich our cultural awareness and help us educate others. The events we attend, hosted by other organizations, in turn enhance our appreciation of other cultures. Although we are an Asian / Asian-American interest sorority, by no means are we Asian exclusive. Our members do not only promote cultural diversity but also represent a multicultural sisterhood.
